Hello Teeny Poet!
Thanks for visiting my blog. I about died when I saw your profile. I thought how did a young poet find my blog?? What did you google? Craziest Mother in the world? But I am so glad you took the time to visit.
Looking at your Blog, I can tell you enjoy Poetry. It is a favorite as mine aswell. You mentioned how talented my brother-in-law is. Thanks, I agree he is. I am glad he is following his talent and heart. It looks like you are too. WAY TO GO!!

Hey, man. Thanks for dropping by my blog and commenting on an entry I posted there.
I checked your poetry site, great what you are doing sharing yours and others' poems for the world to read. It'd be a pleasure to contribute one I wrote. How about "For You My Friend" for starters?
A blessed day ahead.
Hi,thanks for visiting my blog, and for sharing your website link.
Your website is awesome. It would be an honor to add your link to my blog.
Keep up the awesome work!
Yes, grandma's blog too! I use the computer in my curriculum - I even know how to use a Smart Board! Grandmothers today are young and active, and even techno savvy. Your site has a nice look and feel to it. How about "previous" and "next" arrows on the pages. I love the pictures with the poems.
Add me to your blogroll. I'll gladly ad you to mine. Good luck with your site. It's nice to see young people into writing.
I dig your site. Unique look with style.
You have a fantastic poetry site and I will be stopping by on a regular basis to read the new entries.
I agree with Nana, the pictures are a nice touch.
Hi Jon,
I'm LivieOrr from StumbleUpon.com. You left me a message asking if I liked poetry. I took a look at your Googlepages website. It's a beautiful site & a wonderful idea.
It would be even more wonderful if people could not only converse with the poet, but also for other readers to discuss the poems together among each other too.
Also, it would be a wonderful addition if the poets could post video or audio of themselves reading their poems for variation. I know Googlepages does not have these capabilities ... yet anyway.
This could be accomplished if you were to use another free site such as http://fw.members.freewebs.com/index.jsp
It's a free hosting site that has all of these options and you can add a forum to your site for free as well. It also has tons of templates to choose from.
Once a poem page is posted you could open a thread in your forum section with the poets name and poem title. Then readers can just comment on the thread for that poem and a notification of a new message will automatically be sent out to the poet (as long as they have their settings set properly.) Doing it this way, it would be helpful if a link to the corresponding forum thread is posted underneath the poem for easy commenting for the reader.
Alternatively, you could just create a main page and use your forum to allow poets to post their own poetry under the correct thread category. This would cut out a lot of work for you in the long run and they would be able to edit their own poem at any time. Not to mention there may be a lot of readers who do not want to give their email addresses to the world and don't want to check an email box for messages all the time or deal with spammers who have gotten a hold of their email.
Sorry for the long note. I hope you don't mind the suggestions.
I'm in the works on creating my own Veggie Raw Food & health website on Freewebs and I do love poetry, especially 16th & 17th century poetry.
Ps. Here's an awesome poem I found on stumbleVideo:

Hey!
As a poet, thought you might be interested in the Foyle Young Poets of the Year competition. It's the UK's leading competition for poets aged 11-17. If you think any of the users of your site would be interested, we would love it if you spread the word. Best of all, you could forward or feature our viral video, which you can find at http://tinyurl.com/nh4bxj. The competition is free to enter and prizes include visits from poets and residential writing courses, so it's an amazing opportunity for young poets. Have a look!
Thanks,
